Omen Coinflip
Sun for heads, moon for tails — and, rarely, an eclipse.
A coin with an engraved sun on one face and a full cratered moon on the other, tossed in CSS 3D while the server is read. Call a face, and the coin answers.
It has a third face. Rarely the coin lands on its rim and stands, and an eclipse forms behind it — neither side wins. That is the house edge, made a visible, explained outcome instead of a silent shave off the payout. It is never something a player can call, and never reported as losing to the other side.
The odds are counted rather than computed: the configuration publishes the exact outcome space, and the client reads its percentages off it.

How it plays
- 01
Call a face
Sun or moon — heads or tails. Two buttons, no settings to learn.
- 02
Toss
The coin turns while the server is read, then lands.
- 03
Read the sky
Your face pays. The other face does not. An eclipse is its own ending, and says so.
What we made sure of.
- The house edge is an outcome you can see, not a number in a help page
- The outcome space is published by the server and counted by the client
- A whole round in about a second, on the slowest phone in the funnel
- Every ending has its own words — no ending is ever described as another
Questions about Omen Coinflip
What is the edge landing?
The coin standing on its rim: a real outcome in which neither called face wins. It is how this game expresses its house edge. Players cannot bet on it, and the client always names it as its own result rather than as a loss to the other face.
