Pump

A balloon inflates at a party. Everyone is watching it.

The game

Pump is a crash game that stopped pretending to be a stock chart. The multiplier is a balloon, the round is a party, and the tension is the thing every player in the room can see at once.

Bets are placed during a countdown, the balloon inflates, and every player decides for themselves when to take the money. One shared round, one shared moment — the live feed shows how many are still holding on while you decide whether you are one of them.

When it pops, it pops for a reason: a dart, the cat, a candle, a cactus, an over-eager pump or a hug that was a little too tight. Six endings, configured on the game rather than hard-coded in the client, so a season or an operator can have its own.

How it plays

  1. 01

    Bet in the countdown

Every round opens with a countdown. Stake, and you are in the round with everyone else.

  2. 02

    Watch it inflate

The multiplier climbs on a fixed curve — about 2× at seven seconds, and it keeps going.

  3. 03

    Cash out, or do not

Take the multiplier showing when you press. Wait past the pop and the round pays nothing.

In the build

What we made sure of.

  • One shared round, with a live feed of bets and cash-outs
  • Six themed pop reasons, configured on the game and not in the client
  • Reconnects mid-round and rejoins the same round, with the bet intact
  • Round history strip: the last twenty crash points, verbatim from the server

Questions about Pump

Is the crash point decided in the browser?

No. The round, the crash point and the price of every cash-out are decided by the remote game server. The client draws what the server tells it and can never draw an outcome the server has not sent.

What happens if a player loses connection mid-round?

The client rejoins the round it was in and recovers the full snapshot — the round state, the player's own bets and the feed — so a dropped connection never costs a bet that was already placed.
